What happened to Handcent SMS?

It's no longer in the Marketplace. It was the best SMS app by far. I see the font packs, but not Hancdent itself

Ok, I answered my own question. The Hancent forum said the marketplace was having issues, they posted it themselves. I HIGHLY recommended this app. It gives you the iphone txt messaging with a lot of customizing options.

let me know how it works out for you. it kept giving me issues yesterday so i uninstalled it. kept a notification icon on even after reading the txt msg. also would not stay as the default msg app even after i made the changes in settings. i dunno, may try it again later or maybe try chomp.

If I wanted iPhone text messaging I would buy an iPhone. Just messing I had to say it.

@ da op, thanks 4 this, i was looking 2 add some color 2 sms & the customizations in this program did da job. also looking 4 a program or skin to add some color 2 da defualt music player and possibly da taskbar. thanks again!

whats this .apk needed to be installed for when u can install directly from the market .. im cornfused

works good for me. if u connect to the computer its much simpler than the instructions in the link. Downloaded the apk to my desktop. dragged it to my sd card, used Astro to open and install. took 5 mins

Can anyone get a vibrate notification for received messages without keeping the factory messages program on?
