Re: Things I won't miss going from TP2 > Evo

Things I won't miss:
- Never being fully satisfied with the performance of any ROM
- Text messaging (WINMO FAIL)
- 2 minute startup time before I can make a phone call
- All my friends wondering why I still had WinMo and me constantly defending how customizable it was just for it to crash when I tried to show them some customizations. (WINMO FAIL)

Things I will miss:
- Syncing with Outlook consistently and confidently!!!
- Hard keyboard
- The ease of making system level changes without the need to root/unlock the phone.

Re: Things I won't miss going from TP2 > Evo

Things I won't miss:

1. Constant freezing
2. 6.5 lag
3. Constantly having to defend it against fanboys at my work (with android, I don't have to do that at all)

Things I will miss:

1. Simplicity of flashing ROMs
2. Slingplayer Mobile
3. Hardware KB
4. SIMS Card
5. Certain apps in the Marketplace that I paid for
6. TV Out
7. Dual Speakers

Like someone said before, WM isn't all that bad. It's outdated & does tend to freeze alot. However, it does tend to make an unorganized (partial) person more productive (me)!!!

Re: Things I won't miss going from TP2 > Evo

Miss the SIM card. That's it. But when I'm back in the states I don't miss ANYTHING that WinMo had to offer. Slingplayer...only a temporary set-back. Sling was my only reason to keep WinMo.

The only thing I like about WinMo is this forum, and the help it has given me to work through all the many problems that I faced on a daily basis. Good thing it looks like a majority of the people are moving to the EVO and that the support will pour into this sub-forum. Thank you PPCGEEKS!
