HTC Evo Tear Down

THe folks over at ifixit have already stripped the Evo all the way day and have some good information on the chipset and everything else

Did anyone notice that on one of thos slides...the one that showed the Wifi chip...that its capable of 802.11N?? Specs on the Evo said Wireless G...why not use N Sprint?

No need to do a tear down to change the camera lens... Check these out...

I thought it was N but it actually said that was 'up to 50Mb/s' which is actually G... odd

I thought it was primarily the sensor which caused phone cameras to lag behind a standard camera. I mean I know the lens is a player, but that the sensor was the end all. Did i misinterpret?

if this phone is anythign like the HD2 and I think it does share some hardware it will be able to do 802.11n. I have two co workers that have HD2's and with a tweak app it will let you turn on the 802.11n feature. The drawback according to them is that battery life suffers greatly.
