seems odd, arbitrary limits don't usually go well

in an 8 to 10 hour day i could activate about 16 - 20 phones on my own, probably more if i didn't do anything besides activate, ring, and send the customer on their way. and best buy is probably going to have more than 1 or 2 people handling phone sales so they should be able to do 10 to 15 phones times however many people they want to assign to it
so a 30 phone/day limit just seems like a bad idea that doesn't really make sense

Yesterday when I placed my pre-order I asked the guy, "Does this Guarantee me a phone on the 4th?" He said "No, but I have been told this Guarantee's you one with in the first 5 days" He also mentioned that they would be calling to make appointments with people.

Hopefully I get it on the 4th but if not I'm happy with a couple of days after that.

Don't worry too much They called me and are opening at 7:15 and my appt: is 7:15 at BB. I'm the first preorder and to offset load they open early so far I've had 2 calls and change my time. If they say 12:00 midnight I'll be there as anyone preordering would agree sooner the better!

why does it seem that some people are gonna have issues that pre ordered at BB lol. I for one am glad i did mine at RS, but who knows....some people could also have issues there too. But i asked the rep if i was guaranteed the phone on the 4th and he said yes. Set up my appointment at the time they open. I also asked how many pre orders they had, but he wasnt too sure and was gonna ask the manager, but he was busy, so i told him not to worry.

but i guess ill find out in 2 weeks lol

I just called today and set my appointment for 8am on the 4th. If you call and set it up it seems to make their life easier which is what I suggest!

I just called and tried to make a appointment the rep told me they weren't making appointments yet and that they will call me "sometime before June 4th" to set it up. ](*,)

Only good thing is i pre-ordered on the first day 5/13 so hopefully that will guarantee me one on the 4th

interesting.... radioshack is sending a specific phone for each person to the store they preordered in, so everyone that preordered gets it on day 1. i guess the shack finally got it right! :D

another reason im happy that i chose to pre order from RS....it really seems that a lot of people will some how get screwed over by best buy come june 4th.

have a feeling there will be a ton of threads about it lol
