Is it stated on your pre-order paperwork or any where else that you were guaranteed to get your phone on the 4th? Don't say the BBM rep verbally guaranteed it to you. We all know how much weight that carries. The way I see it, the pre-order was only guaranteeing that you would get the phone, not when.

Well lets see, at my store they have three computers to work on, so lets say each applicant takes 30 minutes. Thats 6 an hour times 11 hours in there day, would suggest 66 per day who are renewing contracts.

Now they can do it in 30 minutes if they have those who are not on the computers doing the actual paperwork. Teamwork can get it done.

You are into something... I was reading the preorder form and yes nothing in there makes a expressed guarantee for the phone by a certain date, it only guarantees that you'd get one (if you pay for it fully)

yeah the other quote had me thinking too, because I was told my appointment was going to be on the fourth...(Im 9th and 10th) on the list. The pre-order even specifically says "This pre order form and your receipt serve as a claim check and will both be required when you return on your appointment date."

So who knows my appt date may be the 20th for all I know. Even though she said I would be on the fourth because I was so high on the list. It's not binding.

Well, I was the first nerd to pre-order in my city, I'm good.

I was even that loser that asked, what they'll do for me if they don't deliver on the 4th as advertised.

The fact that you were securing your investment does not make you a loser. Most of us (yes I did too) asked this to the rep. I got that they will do everything reasonable to get me that phone on the 4th.

I meant it as a light-hearted comment, but ya, the rep promised me a car mount kit if they didn't deliver, that's how confident he was it would be here

They literally told me no more than 30 a day. If they had a 10 hour workday which best buy does thats exactly 1 person every 20 minutes throughout the day from 10am to 8pm. Some best buys have longer hours of course and are opening early to have this handled properly since the backlash from all us overly excited people wouldnt exactly be pleasant.

imma call a few bb in my area.. no preorder for me.. just walk in and out.. if i dont get anywhere with bestbuy im going to sprint. we have about 20 bb in my area so im sure to get one somewhere...

I called BB before I preordered because I wanted to make sure I could get mine on the 4th and just like yours they have three registers, but the rep said they will make appointments every half hour, but only have two registers doing Evo orders and leave one open for customers that are just randomly shopping in the mobile section. I would have been 50th in that store so I decided to go across the street to Radioshack and they had only preordered three phones. I hope everybody that wants it on the 4th from BB gets it, but I wouldn't hold your breath.
