Re: Evo 4g
here man.. read away http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/4G
and this is from the Review Thread in here on first page somewhere: Battery Life: I only used it for 45 minutes but in that time I didn't notice a drain really. I asked the person whose phone it was and they got it like four days ago and said that the battery life is very good and is actually better in 4G they thought. Re: Evo 4g
Yes it is a way to get the searching done for me, so what. I feel like you think your daddy. If I want to post I will. You came in here basically telling me what to do. If you don't want to answer bounce. I want to hear what other people have to say. I don't care about signal quality I'm just wondering what the battery performance will be like. I live in a 4g area so it will always be on. If I per say had wifi everywhere I went, I wouldn't leave my wifi on all he time, it would kill my battery too fast

Re: Evo 4g
The Evo has been getting tons of reviews lately, and pretty much all of them say the 4G kills the battery fast. A few reviews even say Sprint is planning on educating customers to turn 4G off and only turn it on when needed.
Check out the Engadget and Wall Street Journal reviews. They both talk about how 4G affects the battery life: http://www.engadget.com/2010/05/19/htc-evo-4g-review/ http://online.wsj.com/article/SB1000...850349228.html |

edit: i'm glad they included a 4g on/off toggle like with the other wireless components. i'm probably going to leave 4g off unless i know i'm going to be using the browser for more than a few minutes in one sitting. i won't have a choice at first though lol my area won't be supported till later this summer.
