Re: New plan changes for EVO 4G???

Are you saying Power Vision was the same price as Vision? Check this old thread: http://forums.wirelessadvisor.com/sp...n-service.html Back at that time, there were countless threads just like it on all the forums. Power Vision was more expensive, and everyone was trying to keep their old Vision plans (which worked with the 6700, by the way, if you were lucky enough to get a rep that would activate the phone). I wasn't lucky enough to get a rep that would activate my 6700 on my old plan, and my bill went up. If I recall correctly, it was like $5 per month more. I htink my Vision was $10 per month, and Power Vision was $15 for the cheapest one (unless you got a retenions offer, which everyone started doing). I'm not saying 4G will cost extra, in fact, I'd be pretty surprised if it did. But EVDO did cost more than 1X back then. Back then Sprint wasn't losing millions of customers every quarter though, and was actually making a profit every quarter. Plus, there was no iPhone and Sprint had the best phone lineup. Really? That's exactly what they did not only to Sero users, but others like me on regular voice plans with $15 power Vision. And I see more and more switching to the Everything plans which have no more benefits than my plan. So what's to keep them from paying even more for the EVO? They did try and convince me when I got a touch pro2 that I was required to get the $30 vision plan. Well, I still have the $15 one. I don't see myself giving up my $43/month plan until there are no more Touch Pro 2's left in the world. Or maybe if I get a significant raise and feel like throwing some extra money away! |

Sorry, to clarify " in order to use an Android phone, they ARE forcing us to change to an Everything Plan!" Which is one of the many reasons I am still on A Touch Pro2. |

Re: New plan changes for EVO 4G???
actually picmail wasn't built in but the smms app thats been around for years did work on the 6700 which gave you direct access to picmail and would let you send and receive pics on your actual device.

Someone came up with a solution after a while, but Sprint eventually blocked it. Someone then came up with a different pic mail app after a while, but the PPC 6700 was pretty much dead at that point anyway. |
