Qik Video Calling Details?
So yesterday Sprint announced that video calling would be available as an additional feature the user can purchase through Qik. Does anyone know any details about this?
How much will it cost?
Will it be a subscription?
Will Qik allow other phones (even without a front-facing camera) to add the service? (You know so we can video call more than just Evo users)

Hmmm... I guess I just figured this was announced yesterday with the announcement of the HTC EVO 4G and it is a new service from Qik seemingly created for the HTC EVO 4G itself...

qik is free and available for all androids and iphone for that matter. the sprint version will just probably update the app to use the front facing camera as well.

Qik is not Evo stand alone softwear go HERE. They support over 140 smartphones including Android, iPhone, Blackberry, Nokia.

Qik is free...if anything it will use your data on your phone...there is no reason for a charge to do video calling...and only evo users and qik users would be able to use that feature anyway...as of now I see no charge..

Qik video conferencing is already available on android and apple. The other person can view exactly what your camera is pointed at. The evo app will probably be updated to use the front camera.

why is everyone saying android, iPhone, BB, webOS.. it works on WinMO now.. ive been using qik since my mogul...

and youll only be able to make video calls if your using 4G.. if your not in a 4G area, then no video calls

Just curious. Then how have you been using it since your Mogul if 4G just came out? I'm interested in trying it out on my WinMo before I get my Evo
