Re: Sizzle? Wha? TFT or OLED Capacitive?

This website compares the hd2 to the evo (they actually played with the evo in vegas at the coming out party) and they say the evo and hd2 have the same screen. The hd2's screen is not amoled.

OLED in general superior because it does not use blacklight...

As for tint in color I think this happens when colors are used that are not in the 65k color scale

So the evo is nothing more than a HD2 with a front facing camera, a 4g radio that is useless to most of us, and android?

Disappointed

Not sure what to look at, just his absolute failure skills at using an onscreen keyboard? My screen is half that size and don't have any of the issues he has with it, I mean, he hit an I when he wanted an N!

In the last couple seconds they mention that the screen is TFT.

One thing I noticed watching the video this time, was that the Speech-to-Text button on the HTC keyboard is included. That's comforting, seeing as that functionality has been left out of some recent Sense-ified Android handsets from HTC (ie, the Desire).

I'm not positive but I'm pretty sure the desire has that button. On my nexus one I disable the voice icon because I never use it and when I disable it that icon switches to a comma which saves me the time of pushing shift or holding down period to get a comma. I noticed this has a comma but all the sip's are different.
