Re: HTC Evo Camera question
Relax everyone, I have the solution. Since the back of the phone is gray, all you need is a cotton ball and a 3" x 3" piece of duct tape.
Problem solved!

But seriously, the lens won't attract any more dust than any other phone with a camera on the back. All lenses are slightly recessed (my hero's lens is recessed, as was my Mogul, as was my Treo 700wx, etc). I haven't had long term issues with any of those cameras. Not that the quality was anything to brag about on the Treo and Mogul, but still.

Some of this nitpicky stuff I could give 2 craps about... I dont care what the back of the phone looks like since ill rarely ever be looking at it.

Re: HTC Evo Camera question
I just might be CRAZY but whats the possibility that its deep in like that because it has optical zoom and comes in and out just like on a camera...

Re: HTC Evo Camera question
It be nice if they can put some kind of cover on the lense and it only open when camera is turn on, you know the type that is on a real camcorder.

I would settle for a little slider cover built into the battery door. I'm surprised no one has made anything like this yet. |
