Talking When are you going to get your LTE?

I have 3 things on my mind now why I am not in a rush to get LTE.

1. Price is currently too high for me to buy one.
2. Can you get 4G (not lte) speed on your LTE now?
3. No free tether until it is rooted. <--- clincher

Will be getting mine soon.
My 3D running Mikvirgin has me held off for now.
Still holding onto my upgrade from April 1st.

Most devs I know of are jumping on the LTE.
Won't be long till it is jazzed up.

Will,

1. Lucky you. This release not luckly for me. Next release I will get it cheap and its your turn.
2. I didnt know Sprint does WiMax. I dont like paying extra dough to get another service
3. I did read on xda that it is already rooted. I didnt read far if it is with s-on or s-off.

S on or off doesn't seem to matter now.
The new recoveries can flash roms and kernels without fastboot.
S on with root can access the system files as writable.
Not much s off could add if anything.

So custom roms and recoveries can be flashed with the current root method?

Edit: Found an answer for recovery http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1675738 so I'm guessing roms should be good to go too

yeah, if you unlock via htcdev, then flash one of the recoveries, you can flash custom ROMs.

Do you get a red flag that your phone has been rooted?

Yah, that is what happened to the 3D after an OTA update.
