I've noticed that these all seem to offer two charge ports with different amps. Can using the wrong one damage a phone?

Re: Battery solution?

Does anyone know how the NewTrent devices charge? Wall outlet or USB? I can't tell from the amazon site or New Trent's site.
Trying to decide between
New Trent iCarrier 12000mAh
New Trent iTorch IMP52D 5200mAh
New Trent iCurve IMP70D 7000mAh
or AnkerĀ® Astro 5600mAh Backup
but if it charges via USB, I might have to hold off.

I don't know about any of those but i got the powergen 8400mah and its awesome. I took it to Vegas and charged my phone in my pocket while walking up and down the strip.

Got it on amazon. It charges with wall charger or usb.

Its small too. About the size of a deck of cards.

Thanks. I'm gonna have to add that one to my list of choices. Option of both Wall charging or USB has me sold.

wow! these are expensive. I guess gone are the days of swapping a $3 battery for a full charge...
