Extended battery question (cheapy vs. Sedio)

I am using one of those cheapy extended batteries off of ebay. It does the trick, it lasts longer then stock but .... not all that much longer.

Will a Sedeio extended battery out perform a cheapy ebay battery?

I have a 3500 Seidio and a 12.99 Amazon one. I get very good performance on both. I retired the Seidio for now and have been running the cheapy for about 4 months.

If there is a difference, it will probably be in overall life.
btw - I use an SBC kernel

I have the official one from sprint, and a cheapo. I think the sprint one better. i get better life from it, it's slightly thicker than the cheapo. but the battery doors it comes with (one white and one black) are much better than what the cheapo comes with.

Re: Extended battery question (cheapy vs. Sedio)

i have 2 evo's. I have used both sprint's and the $10 amazon battery(sprints is 2500mah and the other is 3500mah). Both are the same size. Both performed exactly the same after 1 week of testing. So i sent sprints back and got a $110.00 credit and used $40 of that to buy 3 amazon batteries.(using my TP2 to charge them). Get the 1's from amazon(my phone is stock with all current updates).

Re: Extended battery question (cheapy vs. Sedio)

i found a big difference between the ones linked on ebay (same as amazon ones mentioned) and seidio batteries. i was getting literally 2 hours more out of stock bringing me up to about 10-12 hours depending on if it was medium or heavy use. the seidio i can get 20 hours + out of no issue. the one thing it does do is drain pretty fast down to about 80% and than it stops there and slows down to a slow agonizing crawl haha. i think seidio is the way to go and i personally like the feel of the seidio battery door in my hand better. (may not be prettier but feels better) but remember all will have different results because it all depends on how you use your phone.

Re: Extended battery question (cheapy vs. Sedio)

i picked up two from ebay that came with the wall charger. I keep one charged all the time just in case I can't charge my phone. I unplug around 4:30 am and then plug back in around 8pm. Daily use consists of, Phone calls, text and moderate internet use (no wifi, gps, or 4G).
Enjoy!
