Re: otter box case

Received my Otterbox Commuter for EVO 4G today. So far it seems like a good fit on the phone. It was easy to put on. I didn't use the screen protector that came in the box, because I had a Boxwave Crystal screen protector already on my phone and it was fine. The Boxwave fits fine under the Otterbox Commuter for EVO. The case is pretty light, but don't let that fool you. It seem's to protect all areas pretty well. The only problem I can see be a problem, is that the cover that goes over the usb and micro-hdmi may come off a little easier than I might like. It will stay in, but it does come off a little easy for my taste. But, this is not a deal breaker. Other than that, it seems like a keeper. I am going to test it out in the next few days and let you know what I think of it. I am coming from a Body Glove and Seidio Innocase II, so this is a pretty good upgrade.

Re: otter box case

I just got mine yesterday and I have to say it's a total upgrade from the 6.99 case I got from fleabay.

It's a great fit and looks good. The only gripes I have is that it is all plastic (on the outside) and has NO rubber coating to make it feel non-slippery in your hand. define1966 summed it up about the bottom port cover. It opens to easy. Also, the plastic covers 3 sides (left, right, bottom) but not the top as it is all rubber and I see this warping after a while.

All-in-all, I am still waiting for the defender series as that is still my first choice. But this is a good case. Looks and feels better than any body glove hard case I have ever used and 10 times better than the cheap rubber coated "thing" I got from fleabay. So to sum it up - It's a good case that looks good and sturdy and should last till the defender decides to show it's freakin face...hurry otterbox....patients is running OUT!.....

Re: otter box case

Looks like you can pre-order the Defender Case
& Impact Case from MobileCityOnline for cheaper then what OtterBox is asking....If you haven't picked up A Commuter Case & don't mind waiting you can pre-order that for a slightly cheaper asking price as well.
