Re: Waterproof case
I've actually had excellent results with the Aquapac "cases" (not really case, more like seal-able sleeve). I've tested my EVO in one, and while the surface is somewhat tackier than ideal, the capacitative screen still works well. With the same bag, I have had had a previous phone (a touch pro 1) fall into the most corrosive environment possible (a brine lake) and come out without nary a drop of water. They're cheap(ish), sturdy, and extremely flexible.

Awesome to know that the phone is usable right through the bag

Re: Waterproof case
shappy,
Is the power button easy to push with that bag? I'm looking to carry the EVO while kiteboarding, and I crash quite a bit. Would you say the bag is durable enough? thanks |

I will post it when completed. However, the power button is relatively easy to hit. The bag itself is not likely to rip, but it doesn't really provide any significant added shock protection for the phone. Quote:

Here is another video that better shows off how well the EVO fits and works inside the Dry Case: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rNStKq4OFik

Here are two pictures I took with my EVO of the watch. Not bad for a camera on a phone... http://img94.imageshack.us/img94/2711/imag0035y.th.jpghttp://img33.imageshack.us/img33/9417/imag0034f.th.jpg Here are direct links for better views 1 2 |
