Re: Best Buys WET Zagg Install
I've heard of so many horror stories with Best Buy and the Zagg installations. I guess people don't relized your not supposed to dunk the phone in water then apply. One of the rules it says on the package is to not spray the solution on the device, but to the screen protector and your fingers only. These guys spray the screen and drench the cover..then apply. That is why I will never buy a Zagg or any type of screen protector that requires water to apply. I don't trust anyone but me to put those things on. And there is no way of showing proof that they were at fault either...unless you point it out right then and there. I really think Best Buy needs to teach their employees the correct way to install a screen protector.
Just a heads up anyway...Zagg went away with the spray bottle, and now ships the Zagg cover with a sponge or sorts..sorta like a rubber sponge that is wet, and has the solution but doesnt drip to the point of soaking the phone. Best Buy doesn't use that, they use the water bottle still and that is whats causing all these headaches. So be warned...and do it yourself...it doesn't take much to put those on anyway...epecially now they come with the sponge. |

Re: Best Buys WET Zagg Install
I am big fan of Invisible Screen protector. Bought it on ebay from this seller http://cgi.ebay.com/INVISIBLE-Sprint...item563d206459 I have it on my Touch Pro 2 for 6 months. I have NO scratches or bubbles. This protector does not interfere with the touchscreen at all. I must have tried 5 different protectors. All got scratched within days or start seeing rainbow screen- must be cheap quality. But not with Invisible. And for $7.46 on sale, price is outstanding. I used Zagg on my previous touch pro, and can't complained- it came in a fancy box with a spray, card and cloth. But I paid $20 bucks. I did noticed that with Zagg i had to press harder on the screen to browse on the phone. With Invisible, it responds better. So just a recommendation.
Heads up, with this screen protector, you do have to use water. I am very impatient and I noticed bubbles and my fingerprint...but was amazed that it disappeared by the next day. I hate the self-adhesive type. Because once you put them on- they're on. At least with these type, you can take it off and spray a lil water and place it on til you get it right.
