Swap is not Davlik Cache. Swap is RAM, sort of. Don't use it on a class 2 either.

Davlik cache is where the info from your apps is stored and a class 2 card is not fast enough to run this, really it shouldn't be moved at all but I only suggest it on a class 6 and above.

Mine still shows "Awaiting Shipment" also. I hadnt even checked the site and was waiting for it to get here so Im glad you mentioned it.

Im going to have to call them later today.

UPDATE:

No phone number on thier site (imagine that) but it does allow you to send out an email. So i sent out off yesterday and have an email in my inbox this morning saying it is now shipped and gives a tracking number.

Just got delivery on June 15th 2010 2:15PM EST, it came micro sdhc chip just tossed in alone, in a 3x7 bubble envelope...

I got mine in the other day also. I must say I was disappointed to see it was JUST the micro card and nothing else in the padded envelope. I thought it would at least come in some kind of packaging. But on a brighter note, it did make it here safely. Formatted shows the card to be slightly over 14gb

Same here. Came only in the bubble envelope. Can I just format it and pop it in or do I need to transfer the contents of the existing 8gb card?

I just popped mine in, formatting was not needed. But I did back up and transfer my personal items from my 8gb card to the 16gb card. Working like a charm.

^^^^ x2. I just put mine in my SD adapter, put it in the card reader and started transferring data.

Mine is still working nice and speed-wise as robust as when I first installed it, so far I've got mine 33% full...
