RS:Only UNIVERSAL Accessories?
 

Just got a call from my local RS store. They wanted to set up an appointment for me EVO. I asked what accessories they had and was told they were not going to have ANY (except maybe a zagg screen protector) for the EVO. All they were going to have were UNIVERSAL ones...and that I HAD to use my $20 accessory credit at the time of purchase. I asked to buy what? They said maybe a universal car charger. HMMMMMM!!!! That sucks...not even any EVO cases. I asked about adapters to go from mini to micro USB...nope. They said it will be at least a few weeks till the get anything in. And this is one of the LARGER RS in the area.

I know i felt like a dork going in there to pre order. Noting but overpriced junk usually.

LOL @ the radioshack $20 accessory that you have to use when they have no accessories. you can always get a 3.5mm to 3.5mm cable.

just went into radio shack and had them take me off the list. when asked why i whiped out the Evo and you shoulda seen the look on their faces, jaws dropped all over the floor. the manager was so confused lol

All I can say is...I hope so!! The radio shack I am going to, is one of the larger in my area. The manager told me they won't have EVO specific stuff for at least a week or two.

Yeah, basically what mine told me yesterday. That's fine though, all I really need from them is the car charger and maybe another usb or wall charger.
