zagg shouldn't reduce sensitivity. however, the texture it provides makes it very annoying to slide your finger on the device. It's like having a bumpy ride for your finger because of all the friction it adds to the surface.

Funny, at my local mall they have a kiosk cell phone acessories store and the girl there thinks that everything HD2 will fit the Evo 4G....WRONG!!!

The Evo 4G is a little thicker than the HD2. The screen on the Evo is different than the HD2, and also has a 1.3mp camera, which the HD2 doesn't....I'm just trying warn you people of those cart accessory sellers, they will sell you HD2 accessories instead of Evo....be warned now...buy retail Sprint or authorized know distributors....otherwise your phone aint going to fit in that new $30 case you just bought from the mall cart...

The protector I have on my TP2 is from eBay from a company called Clear Protector. Also: http://www.clearprotector.com/

I got it for $7.49 with free shipping and have had it on my phone for about 3-4 months and it's fantastic. There is almost no orange peel effect that I've seen on the Zagg, and it seems to self-recover from indents. This is unlike my gf's Ghost Armor on her Hero. Although hers does not have the "tacky" feel like mine does (seems Zagg is also like this), it has a couple dented scratches into it that have not recovered since they happened a couple months ago. It's nearly a perfect fit and has not come up at all around the edges, but I did use the solution given with the GA to help with the application, since Clear Protector does not give you this (they give instructions on how to use soap/water mix).

Overall, $7.49 is not bad, but the feel sucks compared to the GA. I wish someone made one as smooth as the GA, but also has the self-healing characteristic. :/

I've used invisible shield for the body of TP1, TP2, and zune hd, and they all work really well for the body. I will agree with that the screen protectors though are a little more grippy compared to the other ones which i've used for the screen, namely martin fields and clairvue anti-glare, both of which glide much more smoothly than invisible shield.

As for the screen being glass, i recall reading somewhere here that the screen is glass, as needed for a capacitive screen, but also coated with plastic to make the touch smoother and easier to work with. With that in mind, i will still put something on the screen, because the first week i had my zunehd, which has corning gorilla glass, i managed to scratch the screen with the device in my pocket, and only the device. Its still a mystery to this day how it managed to get scratched but i'm just gonna play it safe and believe that nothing is really scratch-proof, unless it was coated with diamonds.

Screen protectors aren't usually thick enough to inhibit capacitive screen performance, if they were, those companies would lose alot of money because their products won't work with iphones.
