I don't trust ebay when it comes to buying new electronics. I save ebay for buying hard to find motorcycle parts and cheap gifts for my girlfriend. Other than that, it's a bunch of scams. I wish ebay had a way of weeding out the bullmess that's on there. Good thing they've got pretty good fraud protection on there.

So anyways, is Amzer a good brand? I started to buy one of those cables, but then I thought "Why do I need this again?"

I see monoprice will have theirs in stock soon. Wanting to get a 10 footer but worried about image quality with a longer cable.

I went ahead and got one from sprint. 25 bucks after discount and with taxes. may not have been the cheapest, but didn't have to wait and if there's a problem it's quickly and easily dealt with.

dang i'm sorry you feel that way about ebay. i've been buying from ebay for 6 years now. 95% of the time i don't have issues, but once in a blue moon something arises either with the product sent or the seller but its usually easy to fix on paypal.

anyways the hdmi cable you guys should get is this:
http://cgi.ebay.com/Micro-HDMI-Type-...item27b31eee06

its freakin $7 flat. you guys shouldn't have to overpay to anyone because cables are relatively cheap to make and manufacter. it's also gold plated so both connection ends are firm. i can confirm that this cable works great with the TV!

Re: For those of you having trouble finding micro hdmi (type d to type a) cable

Anyone find a type D male to female type A? I use one like it for my optima pk-301(pico projector) just that the male end is mini hdmi. That way I can just use any regular HDMI cable I already have. I found one listed but it said not available and looked like it was just PSd together as maybe a potential offering in the future.
