Re: For those of you having trouble finding micro hdmi (type d to type a) cable

Do you guys think the longer cords will have really poor quality? I'm thinking about the 10' or maybe even the 25' so that I can run it from my tv under my rug and to the couch. I have a similar set up with a standard 25' HDMI for my laptop but my understanding is that over 6' quality drops and at these low prices I'd assume that they aren't top of the line cables to begin with.

I found another one here http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.37396 $12.20 free shipping plus a lot of other cheap accessories

Re: For those of you having trouble finding micro hdmi (type d to type a) cable

ebay and amazon will trump ANY online reseller for ANY types of cables or chargers... here's a mini hdmi to hdmi cable:
http://www.amazon.com/Tripp-Lite-Min...4672245&sr=8-1

I always get chargers and cables for under $5 shipped... I don't care what anyone says about the quality because they all have to meet a certain standard, you're not going to notice the difference between this brand or a monster cable!

I believe the usb is "Micro", but the hdmi is "Mini"
can anyone confirm this? I tried looking around but cannot find where it specifically says the hdmi port type

Re: For those of you having trouble finding micro hdmi (type d to type a) cable

$4.88 for a micro male -> micro male 10ft. hdmi cable, lol... need an adapter to get it to the standard size
http://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-listi...&condition=new

after the evo comes out there will be cables/adapters reasonably priced.

this would be perfect but it's mini to hdmi standard:

Re: For those of you having trouble finding micro hdmi (type d to type a) cable

Looks like you guys were right ordered cable from dealextreme on 5/19 as of today 5/25 it hasn't moved. Status is Awaiting Stock. Last time I ever order from them.

Canceled my order and placed a new one with Amazon, while there is still time. I need the accessories to play with too. I want to see what this bad boy looks like on my 46" HDTV.

Here are the pieces I ordered. YES they should PROBABLY go in three different threads oh well what is this XDA? Anyway I would appreciate someone else putting there eyes on these to see if I got the right stuff thanks.

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...ef=oss_product

Movie to go cable

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...ef=oss_product

Extra USB cable to charge at work

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00..._ya_os_product

Adapter to unplug PS3/XBox to plug in EVO

The HDMI to mini I bought is 8" because I don't want the adapter and cable pulling on the port. I suppose you could lay the device down on its back.
