Wirelessly posted (Sprint TP2 6.5 stock: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows CE; IEMobile 8.12; MSIEMobile6.0) Sprint T7380)

i read someone mention the glass screen may not need a protector .. im gonna to maybe prevent it from breaking in event it falls to the ground which im hopin not to ... how are the full kits as far as looks & putting them on .. fitments on previous phones ? also ppl mention the rainbow banding issue alot of our tp1s & tp2s experienced was due to screen protectors. are these phones facing same possibilities if indeed that is a cause ?

Glass screens are very resistant to scratches. I know several people with really beat up iphones with screens that are unscratched. However, it doesn't mean it can't happen as I've seen some with scratches all over. I use a protector on my ipod touch and will use one on my evo. They are cheap and they are barely noticeable. As for body protection most likely. Bestskinsever are cheap enough to replace once or twice a year, which is how long they seem to last from my past experience.

I think I'm going to skip on the screen protector as I think the glass will be fine and just drop it in this case:

Nice cases, but ships on 6/21.

Damn. I didn't notice that. I guess I'll just have to be really careful with it for a few weeks or maybe I'll get a silicone one until that one is available.

While these new phones do have very scratch resistant glass on them they are not scratch proof. Any sand, rock, or glass bead media can and will scratch the screens. Skin protectors are the next best thing to a naked phone since you preserve the look and feel of the phone without adding the bulk of a large case.

Ps I see alot of class 10 stuff out now the higher the class the better, if you were not aware.

those are minimum speeds and someone tested a variety and found out that they are restricted more by the phones hardware than the speed of the card.

i've heard of that. supposed to be good stuff. I hope so, maybe the htc screen problems will be behind them using that.
