Whats the difference between this two tethering software as far as Performance and Features go?

Probably the main difference is the Sprint Hotspot is an infrastructure connection, while wifi tether is usually an ad hoc connection.

even if it wasnt the same, I would take less performance out of a free wifi tether then pay sprint 30 bucks for wifi hotspot.

My colleage says he only has to pay $10 more for T-mobile to get the his Wifi Hotspot working. He said I should pay.

He also said most Android app are only few dollars and I should stop doing those illegal stuff.
