Just got the notification for the OTA update right now... I'm not touching that thing until i get the rooted version.

Updated, network signal seems to be a bit more consistent now. So how does this screen shot contraption work. If you hold the power and home button the screen just turns off and when you turn it back on it shows recent programs. I don't think I missed something or did I?

What is the difference?

I just want it rooted so I can get the free WiFi and do a clean ROM with none of those bloatware.

Here is someone else comment:

Since you followed HTC's method you are stuck as of right now. Their method unlocks your bootloader, but still has a NAND lock keeping you from flashing to different partitions. This situation is similar to the OG Evo if I'm not mistaken. Just wait around and a root method should appear

I have an interesting question. My wife and I each have an E3D and hers came with the bootloader unlocked!

So, how can they say that your warranty is void??? I rooted mine with the "other" method.

if you use HTC method you have to give your serial#
