Judging from my posts, it seems difficult to determine if it is the phone or not. Is there a way to call someone or chat with someone at sprint to get the specific area checked out for tower problems? I don't travel outside my typical route to/from work so haven't tested other highways in St. Louis. At work itself it seems fine. I'm guessing it's the towers along the highway. Don't think it is a capacity issue since I'm driving off peak times. Any ideas?

BTW, I love the phone too and really don't want to take it back either. Internet plus Android apps are wonderful! I mainly use mine to check gmail through the internet app and love that they come in in HTML with attachments/pics embedded unlike my TP2 which butchered all html encoded emails!

Haven't any any complaints for people not being able to hear me but yes I 100% agree with the op. Voice quality sucks and reception sucks even compare to the evo. The sound quality is very muffled on a voice call. At first I thought it was just my phone but tried out some test calls on a friends sounds exactly the same.
