No, they just told me on the phone that they put the order in, but it was backordered. I waited two weeks before calling to ask about seeing it in the order system. This was at the end of July.

I get good reception in my basement apartment (EVO 3D). I will admit that years ago i did have better reception (always full bars). Decided to call and complain and wound up getting a free airave. it comes tomorrow.

The "its on backorder" speech is complete BS. They did that to me too; just call back and talk to someone different and I'll bet you'll hear a different story. If not, retentions has everything in stock. ;)

I might just do that. My battery on the Evo 3D is draining super fast as it constantly goes in and out of 3G into 1X (forget anything about 4G here even though it should be available).

I basically have to keep it plugged in constantly.

I was told they were on back order too and I'll get an e-mail when its shipped... :( I might give them another ring tomorrow.

Maybe that's why mine came in when it did, because I called to ask and they were covering their crap up. Who knows.

They sent me one for free. No monthly and it uses your home internet for service. It even comes with a 150 upgrade that I used to get a new phone with at Bestbuy. Sold it on eBay for 400. I have great signal in my apt. I even get 4G and they still sent me one.

They must be monitoring this thread or something... because I surely received my e-mail about it today asking if I was still interested... DUH!! LOL They said all I had to do is respond and they will ship it in 2-3 business days.

Mine is free too... I wish I would pay for service they say should be in my area anyway...LOL

I did the chat and called in and they said it was on backorder, email would come...has not come. I did this last week.

Email contact came in yesterday, I responded that I'm still interested. Waiting to hear back when it's ordered and shipped.
