Picture Quality Sucks
 

Is it just me, or does the picture quality/stock camera really suck on this phone? Aside from the green tint issue, I'm just not pleased with my pics. The camera doesn't seem to take in enough outside light. I was on the beach and took some shots on a clear sunny day but the pics looked like there was a storm brewing. When I try to change the white balance settings, the colors get all distorted, really bright and cartoonish. I know its not a digital camera, but I should be able to get some pretty solid pics out of it.

Not just you. I bought my wife a 3d and she is experiencing the same thing.....

Think its something that can be fixed in the software? Or is this a hardware issue. I take a lot of pics on the go this would definitely be a dealbreaker for me.

Uhhh...I'm fine with the camera...its a phone not a digi cam....plus you can change the settings to your liking...and it has auto enhance...cant be choosey

HTC always uses crappy camera sensors in comparison to other handset makers... I hope one day they surprise us with something impressive.

Surprisingly the best camera on a phone I have ever had was on my palm pre.

This phone does good enough though. Isn't like it is just a camera.

The new my touch supposedly has the best camera ever found in a cell phone.

On another note. My e3d has been quite impressive. I've had to play around with some of the settings in low light situations but in daylight Tue pics are incredible.

Isnt this also a 3d camera ? soooo .. maybe thats interfereing with regular 2d pics ? i was at the radioshak near by and was messing around with it , i personally love this phone . might be my next one ... image quality is amazing . in 3d or regular . just sayin

My pics look fine,
nuthing near my canon 7d but my canon is a dedicated camera and was 2k
