Partial Wake usage and button lights

When i first got this phone i was afraid i made the wrong decision because it looks and feels so much like the EVO 4g, so it didn't feel like i got any thing knew. But after playing around with this monster of a phone i can never go back to my epic or evo. All that is needed is root access.

But what concerns me is that the phone awake time is not too far off from the the up time. Is there any apps out there that would show me the partial wake usage on the 3d? Spare parts force closes and so does battery history.

Also programs like latitude kills the evo 3d battery life but doesn't really affect the epic much.

Too improve battery life, is there a way to time out the led lights behind the hardware buttons? How about a wifi timeout when the screen is off?

Re: Partial Wake usage and button lights

I am getting random restarts now when the phone is in my pocket. Hitting the poswer and volume up seems to shut the phone off even if the buttons are locked. Now i think i may have gotten a defective unit somehow.

In your sync settings, uncheck htc sense and hub. If it's not installed use add account and select htc to install then uncheck them. Mine was the same way till I did this and it fixed that problem.
