Re: Your fav GPS app?

Is CoPilot the best GPS app out there for the Android?

Yah I do like iGo8 on my TP2. I am sure you have to tweak the config file and it will work. We did have a good support on the TP2 forum here. I just dont have the time to play with it more on the iGo8.

It is impossible to navigate on the Google map. That free floating cursor floats like a butterfly all over the place when you are driving. Then it time out on you n blank your screen. Google map is not ment for navigation while driving.

Re: Your fav GPS app?

I don't mind the quirks with Google Nav... seems solid to me with all the extra features available compared to alternatives. The only way I'd use another GPS nav app is if Garmin released one for Android like they had on WinMo. I've always been a big fan of Garmin products. They can't possibly be making any money on their Nuvi phones, so it's a little disappointing they haven't jumped on the opportunity yet. They should at least release something like what they just put out for WP7.

Re: Your fav GPS app?

Co pilot is now my favorite. I just got it on my 3vo a couple days ago and works well with no internet needed. I definitely dont miss having my tp2 that had tom tom anymore, id say copilot works just as well.

I have try them all on my WM. Even Garmin XT. iGo8 is the best. Even warn you of red light camera.

Are you sure you like Garmin? They have the worst jerky jerk cursor motion. But Garmin as open source map where you can get them for free. I just dont know how this works.
