Disappearing Apps?

anyone experiencing apps disappearing from the phone? I have noticed two instances where apps just disappeared, the two were RealCalc and Slacker Radio. The icons for those two were still on one of the homepages but it was a dead link to both. Had to reinstall them from the marketplace. this might have happened after I connected the phone via USB cable and selected use as a USB Drive.

same thing happened to a bunch of wallpapers I downloaded from the HTC hub. They don't show up in the wallpaper page anymore even though HTC hub shows them as being downloaded.

wondering if this is a common problem?

Re: Disappearing Apps?

That's a new one I think. I haven't had apps disappear.

Re: Disappearing Apps?

This is a known issue with the 3VO. Easy fix is to change your scenes back and forth. This will bring all your icons back.

Re: Disappearing Apps?

Do you have an app for phone? I can't remember but I thought I had one when I first got my 3D. It is gone from my lock screen and changing my lockscreen background won't bring it back.

it's not an icon problem where they show up as generic graphic. this situation has the whole app missing as in it sort of uninstalled itself requiring a reinstall from the marketplace.

I believe one of the recent OTA update fixed that problem.

Re: Disappearing Apps?

I found moving that app to internal memory solved the problem. I have not yet tested the new update with this issue.
