Looks like a clever way for HTC to make some extra $$. I can use headphones OK but can't connect to my car's AV jack w/o all the skipping, etc. I haven't yet found a smaller/cheaper adapter, but I'm sure there's gotta be one somewhere.

Try a new cord. I had to purchase and try out 3 before I found a worker. Luckily radio shack took the other two back. $4.99

I use the FM radio the first time.

All I hear is static noise. Then when I held the phone high, I can pick up some radio station. I wonder what happenz.

you do know that headphone work as a antenna

It just says radioshack China! its Gray if that helps
