I was with tech support for like 30 minutes today and they try fixing my phone remotely but issue still the same, i go from 4 bars to none not a cloud in the sky.. they asked me to go to the store and get a new evo 3d see if that helps... |
Re: Problems... Dropped calls and no signal
did you guys try this?
call sprint tech support and having them reset your data profile on their end. your phone will automatically reboot during this (did for me anyway). ... then ... Go to the dialer and enter ##3282# Select "Edit Mode" on the popup Enter the 6 digit MSL Select "Data Profiles">Menu>"Restore" Phone will reboot in 10 seconds or you can select "OK". "Hands free activation" will appear after phone reboots followed by PRL update and then firmware update. (Go ahead and update PRL, but DO NOT UPDATE firmware.) ... do a profile update as well... solid signal and speeds now... |
Re: Problems... Dropped calls and no signal
Do ##72786# first.

Re: Problems... Dropped calls and no signal
I just got my Evo 3d on Thursday, prior to this I had a Sprint Mogul.
The mogul always had full bars at my house, my Evo has 0-1. I've had either dropped calls or the call is so distorted I can't understand what someone is saying. How can this new phone be so bad at picking up a signal? If my 4 year old Mogul had no problems picking up a signal here, Sprints new top of the line phone should be able too also. |
