TeleNAV not working on my 3D

My TeleNav is not working on my 3D.

I click on the icon and it say need an update. I click OK and it just hang at the webpage.

Never get it to work.

Need help.

it says preparing files for first time use right? mine did that too. i tried like 6 times would go. i connected over wifi. tried it worked. ever since its been working flawlessly. try a wifi update for it. its going to sit awhile so be patient. at 100% mine sat for like 10 minutes. then the program loaded the first time.

Just a suggestion but try using Google Navigation instead. In my opinion it works much better.

It keep saying "Preparing to Download" ... and it takes forever n forever. What is going on here?

I cant find Google Navigation. Is it in Settings , then Maps ?

Google Navigation is listed simply as "Navigation" along with the rest of all your Apps.

Why is TeleNav FREE? If that is FREE, then I might not download it as I dont like to put more stuff than I wanted to.

I didnt know there is a Google "Navigation". I had been clicking on the "Map" on the App. Why two version?

Is Google Navigation better than TeleNav?

Glad you found it. One is just a map and the other integrates the navigation into the map. I use the map to find places of interest like an ATM or a restaurant when I'm in unfamiliar territory. Plus I can always click on Driving Navigation and it will plot my course for me.

It downloaded/updated today, so it seems it was a server error on thier side.

I use a dedicated GPS unit at work anyways so this isn't a big deal for me.

You are right on this. Now it is working after I download today.

TeleNAV advantage: nice female voice but not so smooth cursor

Google Navigation: smooth cursor but ugly robotic female voice

I wish there is something for Red Light Camera! Where is this feature?
