Ringtone volume fluctuates

i have been noticing that sometimes when i make phone call the ringtone volume would increase itself. i usually have the volume set somewhere in the middle, after i make a call sometimes it would go up to the max. does anyone know what causes it?

Mine does that to. Starts quieter then gets louder. Once someone answers it seems to stabilize though.

Do you have the Pocket mode checked? That may be your problem

Nope, not checked on mine. I have seen this "problem" in a few forums, it is pretty common. Doesn't bother me a whole lot. But if it were to get fixed, it wouldn't bother me either.

They better fix this or I'm going to Verizon!!!!!! j/k!! Never would I be so stupid. Yeah mine does this too...even the two I exchanged.

restarting the phone sometimes fixes it.
