So is their a dedicated 3D youtube app or do i just have to search 3D vids in the youtube app to find them?

You can search Tru3d01 and a ton of videos will come up. You can also just browse http://www.youtube.com/user/3D and look for something interesting and then search on your phone. I don't know of an actual 3D YouTube app though.

You can convert 2D movies into 3D using split screen, but the effect doesn't work as good as if you're using stereoscopic cameras. Like on the EVO 3D.. you have two cameras side by side, so there's a slight difference in angles for the two images. Whereas, if you convert 2D to 3D, you're using the same pic and same angle, so the 3D won't be as "real" and it's more manufactured than anything else.
