Accidently triggering capacitive buttons

Hey guys, anyone else accidentally triggering the capacitive buttons. I noticed that when you hover over them they activate. Is this normal? This is my first capacitive phone sooo.

Sometimes you can trigger a capacitive button if you're hovering over it fairly close. They go based off of disruptions in electron flow that are caused by our body's own energy. If your finger is slightly above the button, the phone might be sensitive enough to pick up the presence of your finger.

Might take some getting used to if you haven't used a capacitive device before, but it's nothing major. You should have no problems after about a week of using it ;)

yeah after a bit of usage, It's still very easy to hit the search or home buttons when holding the phone in landscape mode.

Didn't seem to be as big an issue with my employee's Evo 4G. he did have a zagg screen protector over his though

Yeah, it's crazy, you don't even have to actually touch them! The screen is ultra sensitive too, I was trying to find a setting to maybe make everything less sensitive but couldn't find anything.

For now, we are at its mercy. The best thing that worked for me was to get a case and that kept me from hitting the search button, especially when watching videos. But since there aren't any cases out for it yet, we have to get used to it til one drops.

There are plenty of cases for it!! In fact Sprint had 2 different otterboxes for it in stock!
