If I can order a 3D with the SERO plan thru BB, then whats the point in ordering it thru Sprint directly?

From what I've been reading it's because the price through Sprint is anticipated to be less than Best Buy. Of course, if you're taking an upgrade and renewing a contract, maybe the $199 (or whatever it is with a 2-year) would probably be the same at either store.

I saw an article where someone claimed we can pre-order directly through Sprint now... I posted a quote of it and a link to the site I found it on in the "when's it coming out thread" here: http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread...49#post2101549

If we can pre-order through Sprint on a SERO plan, I'd rather do that; even though there's no reason NOT to trust Best Buy, I'd feel better being on a pre-order list directly with Sprint.

I know if you order it at the Sprint store, they need to take out the phone and activate it right away and I put all the fingerprints on it. I might want to put a screen protector on it first. I believe this has gorilla glass? So I dont need it?

Do BB have to take the phone out n activate it right away too?

I guess you can score some points with your ZoneReward at BB if you buy from them. I do have a $250 gc to BB for getting a 2 yr Dish n new HDTV that my dad bought.

I did read that BB can do SERO, but you have to call.

Will this thing be OOS for many months once its release? I hope Sprint manufactured a bunch of them.

It really sucks that none of these preorders have any pricing info.

Is Best Buy going to charge an arm and a leg for the full retail price? Will they price match Sprint on that?

Will there be a ridiculous mail in rebate if you buy it from Sprint?

There are so many unanswered questions regarding this preorder. All things being equal, I would buy it at Best Buy to get the rewards. But if they are going to charge an extra $200 for the full retail, then I would probably go to Sprint.

Also, will radio shack get in the mix with a better deal on the preorder like they did with the OG Evo?

im hoping bestbuy will give some free stuff away like they did for the evo last year. i mean the freebie stuff was crap but its always nice to get free swag we will see.

Yeah, I am wondering about that too. Radio Shack gave a bunch of free stuff with the Evo preorder last year too. No word about any of them doing it this year so far.

Pre-ordered mine Saturday, though I had to inform the guy that they were "quietly taking pre-orders." He called his colleague who confirmed it with a SKU. The pre-order form was specifically for the Evo 3d.

No word on price or exact date (though June seems likely); Best Buy historically takes care of the rebates for you so no mail-in required (how it was on my Evo). The free stuff doesn't matter much to me; I don't use the screen protector and I have more usb chargers than I care to at this point.

Anxiously waiting for the day...

Didn't Best Buy give a free bluetooth headset last year? And Radio Shack gave a bunch of free stuff too (I think it was like a $50 or $70 store credit or something like that).

So does anybody know for sure if you can upgrade form a SERO to a SERO Premium at Bestbuy or Radio Shack?.... if yes are the prices the same as sprint if you are eligible for the upgrade?
