what version of recovery do u have? i got the same error when using v1.0.1, but when I updated to 1.0.3 it flashed fine

I got that error once on a ZIP I made. I just reflash it it again, right after the error message, without rebooting the phone and it will work. I only had the error one single time and it was with 1.0.3.

I get errors quite often when flashing. What works for me is to back out of the install menu and enter a different menu. Then back to the install menu and it flashes. Odd, but it works for me. I also wipe my caches before I install. Don't know if it is necessary but I seem to have better results. Maybe just a placebo effect.

Wiping cache is always good for any mod. Im still learning about the cache partition so I can tell you why, lol

But yeah, that error pops up from time to time for people. I have been lucky. Only seen it once and like noted, just try again.

I updated the the 1.0.3. Ran the zip again. It seemed to run fine, however, the lockscreen looks jacked up now..lol

@seedogg the files you are using are from the stock ROM? or did you pull them for another ROM?

I am using Shooter Rewind from over at XDA. I ran the fix, and then tried to load lock screen again after clearing cache. Now it just comes back to the stock looking lockscreen.... Oh well, no biggie I guess.

They are from stock rom.
