But back to a previous note... I stilldont have any sound on the weather animations? Are you sure that wasnt an add on or a setting somewhere? I looked all over the 1.13 ROM and its nothing I can reproduce.

TO clarify, the sound I am talking about is when you first unlock the phone and rosie does her spinning trick and then the weather gets displayed... With the new ROM it makes this pleasant sound like "laaaaaaaaaaaa"

With 1.13 I cant get it to do that.
i never had sound for this. weird.

I have sound with my weather animations. Maybe you didn't enable the setting although it should have been turned on by default. I remember with the orginal rom there was a setting for it. Anyway i noticed about what you said with the "hotspot". Will the wireless tether app still work correctly?

No, I am saying the new ROM in the OP that I posted has weather animation sounds. The older ROMS, 1.13 and 1.11 did not. I just reloaded the official 1.13 RUU release and there are no sounds. I am asking if there is something to turn them on? I have never heard the sounds on 1.11 or 1.13.

As far as the WiFI tether apps, they may or may not. Usually they will becuase they are not using the same lib files as the HotSpot is.

Basiccally the hot spot hack is just an edit to the hotspot apk to disable the servicer checking with sprint. basically some lines are removed that check to make sure its OPK to turn on. I am more than sure this will be cracked in about... Ohh.... SOON!

The sound effects have always been toggable by tapping the weather, then going into settings. By default in previous ones it was off. Looks like they're on by default now.

I second that the sound was off by default in the weather apk, but now its not....
