I got the previous version.

Is this the right step to do a clean install?

1. Talk out the microSD and reformat it.
2. Put micrsoSD back in. Reboot to Factory reset.
3. When it comes to the screen, boot to RECOVERY. Then do the USB thing and install from the SDCard with the ZIP file.

Good clean install or not?

Ya, but you dont have to format SD Card unless you want to.

really like your rom so far, but one thing i have noticed is a much higher current draw over stock. before my average current draw withe the phone idle and screen off was around 50-100mah, now its closer to 300mah constantly. im going to try to reflash the rom, any other suggestions?

Im sticking with it but I have to agree this rom is way more battery intensive than 2.6 was

I still see no difference in battery intensity. Normal to me.

might just be the lack of signal/3g in my area... its gotten worse since they released the iphone... I literally cant get more than 10-20k during the day and times out constantly!!!

HELP this the first time I've completely hosed up a phone. I have and EVO3d wh HBOOT-1.50.0000 eMMC-boot I am unable to revert back to factory and my phone only works for a few minutes then stops making and receiving calls and stops all data traffic. It won't do anything I can't text I can't receive text. The phone functions I can use all my apps but I just can't connect to calls or data services. HELP

Did you try reflashing rom
