After completing the steps...is it normal for Hands Free Activation to start up and I'm now getting a PRL Update?
Alos, I should note that I did get e reboot after exiting recovery...

Yes, a lot of people (including me) got the Hands Free Activation - Along with it forgetting my google password. Also, you may find that your voice does not work (For me it told me I was on Verizon Wireless). Call *2 from your phone and then hang up...Everything worked again...Well for me at least ;)

Damn, this process was pretty damn easy. I still can't believe we finally got permanent root. Now its time to flash a rom, I guess it will have to be yours omj. Your rom was the first custom rom I ever flashed on the evo 4g so I guess I need to continue the process.....downloading now. On a side note I am really curious as to how these devs figured out this process, I am sure it will make one hell of an interesting read.

it wasnt a user error trust me I am very careful when it comes to these things I checked letter for letter and counted them out 4x to make sure I didnt skip one, but in the end that did do the trick copy and pasted the beta key and it was accepted but I swear I enter it correctly thanks for helping me thru this so late I refused to go to sleep til I got this lol
