I just clean mine with the spray that comes in the package. It's just a soap and water mix so if it runs out, just fill it back up with water and a drop of dish soap and you can use it to clean your phone in the future. That sux you had bad luck with them jdpman, I have used them for years and never had issues.

Ugh, so many opinions... I just want to preserve smoothness/non-stickiness of the screen without distortion, lack of anti-glare I can live without.

I got the Skinomi one... which looks like the same thing esp. as far as installation goes. I thought it'd be a pain, but it was pretty easy. The first day or so, it looked like it was going to have a few streaks and I wouldn't be happy with it, but those came out and it seemed to grow into itself so-to-speak. Just thought I'd mention how mine went while you await the arrival of yours.

XO Skins are pretty easy to install. Just watch the video and steam up your bathroom before you start.
