I'm happy to report that Otterbox is getting ready for the E3D with a Defender series case. I got a response email today with "We hope to have one made for you ASAP"
No definite date but as I know, I'll pass it on.

Damn, I haven't been this excited about a phone since I got my Vogue...

I got mine today at Radio Shack. Best Buy and the Sprint stores have them as well. I like that you can flip it face-out and use the belt clip as a kickstand like the og EVO Defender.

Using the belt clip as a stand is a very welcomed feature. Loving this case.

I love this one the phone is slim and protect very well

I agree. A coworker had his in an Otterbox and switched to the Seidio convert for the extended battery. It looks like his phone is pregnant, lol.

Only think with that one is it doesn't protect the camera. That alone is why I chose the defender.

+1 ... I didn't have a case on my Evo 4g; just a screen protector. I bought the otterbox because I was worried about the camera.

I like how the OBD protects the phone..BUT..I don't like how the pointed edge (above the speaker) hurts my ear even after a 30 second phone call.

Looking for a better case as we speak. Might goto BB and see what they have.

Agreed. The raise is just too much. Also, when trying to type one-handed, the tall raise makes it so that I'm unable to hit the keys near the edge of the screen. Only reason i got this case was b/c of the total protection, and I had a $50 RS gift card left over. I had pre-ordered my 3VO there, but ended up getting it from Sprint instead.
