Otterbox Defender coming soon!
I'm happy to report that Otterbox is getting ready for the E3D with a Defender series case. I got a response email today with "We hope to have one made for you ASAP"
No definite date but as I know, I'll pass it on. Damn, I haven't been this excited about a phone since I got my Vogue... |
Re: Otterbox Defender coming soon!
I got mine today at Radio Shack. Best Buy and the Sprint stores have them as well. I like that you can flip it face-out and use the belt clip as a kickstand like the og EVO Defender.

I like this Defender case so much better than the one for the Evo....

Using the belt clip as a stand is a very welcomed feature. Loving this case.

Re: Otterbox Defender coming soon!
I like how the OBD protects the phone..BUT..I don't like how the pointed edge (above the speaker) hurts my ear even after a 30 second phone call.
Looking for a better case as we speak. Might goto BB and see what they have. |

The case offers great protection but has a couple flaws. Can't type one handed the letters at edge if screen and is kinda bulky. I like the sedio because you can use the inside cover as a slimmer case. But I like the otterbox camera cause there is no need to pull down flap to use camera. Either way its a matter of choice. I chose otter defense cause it only cost me $30 on craigslist brand new. Wouldn't mind trying seidio though. I had it on my evo 4g and it was nice to have the 2 case option.

Im leaning towards a seidio case myself. I want to protect my phone for all purposes but not willing to sacrifice usability ..or my ear for it.

Re: Otterbox Defender coming soon!
I have the defender on my 3d and it works great so far. I am a landscaper and work in dust/dirt/sweat all day and everything is great so far. However, when I'm talking on the phone its like have a knife pressed against my ear. I may just modify the case with a grinder so the part that goes against the ear is not so sharp.
