Question Stealth Tethering

Is there an app do stealth tethering? I am on Leaked 2.1v3 and that is not rooted.

Yes stealth. I dont want any extra charges from verizon... Will easy tether do that??

Doing this with Easy-tether (or other apps) allows you to circumvent the Verizon "tethering charge" (which is nothing but a charge to have them turn on the tethering feature).

But it's still using the data/cellular-connection, which is still charged on a per-minute basis unless you have an unlimited data plan.

yup......i dont have a problem with that personally cause i had a data plan all a long with Verizon, but forcing others to have 1 when they dont really need 1 or want 1 is ridiculous.

Easytether s a paid app right? Is there a free alternative? My brother in law has an Alltel Treo Pro. This is easy for AT&T, all I have to do is make 2 reg edits. Can you tell me what the process is for an Alltel Treo Pro?

easyteather = free. make sure you have a dataplan and search it up, since the palm treo isn't an android, goto their website @ http://www.mobile-stream.com :]
