after you put the zip on your sdcard you have to turn off the phone and reboot it until you get the menu.

4. start phone with "power+volume down" at the same time

cuz it has three little android guys at the bottem and i can press send to do a fastboot mode or i can press vol up for recovery or do i just reboot again?

and my phone is plugged in via wall charger so hopefully i dont brick it knock on wood

No i didnt i just tryed to do the boot thing and it came up with a HUGE exclamation point with a triangle arround it so what i did is took my sd card out and removed the file put it back in and my phone went back to the original 1.5...when i was trying to put the file on my sd card i couldnt find the folder calld root. all i could find was dcim and stuff like that so i just transferd it and made it its own folder but it didnt work any ideas??

FINALLY I HAVE GOT IT I WANNA SAY THX FOR EVERYONE WHO PUT EFFORT OUT TO LEAK THIS PROGRAM THANK GUYS SO MUCH!!!!! now does anyone know some cool apps i shoud download?

I did the update. Find my device much snappier, and seemingly better battery life.

Upon power cycling, it loses your GMAIL/GOOGLE password, so that's a minor annoyance. (Especially given I almost never power-cycle the phone).

Will not have live-wallpaper as this was deemed too powerful for the Eris and even Motorola Droid. (N1 feature only, I believe).

Navigation is awesome.

couple questions....what will we do when the actual update comes to us????? and also i love the nav

but my buddy showed me this thing on his moto droid where it navigated you at street view just like if you were driving... i figure its able to be done but didnt really know how to do it....but
