Re: Upgrade to Diamond from Touch Vogue or go to TP2?
You won't regret it. It's a big jump in device, and I'm planning to do that soon as well.

Re: Upgrade to Diamond from Touch Vogue or go to TP2?
Sounds like you've already pulled the trigger ... but will give my thoughts anyway. I am one of those who love their Diamond. I've had mine for a year, and have to tell you that the rom you use makes all the difference in the world. Mine is quick, stable, and just fun to use. The VGA screen is quite nice, and I really like the smaller foot print, especially the thinness. Personally, I'll be waiting for the D2 or the HD2. Enjoy your new phone ... there should be lots of custom stuff to choose from.

I like the Diamond but if there are slightly bigger screened phones coming out that do just as much for the same price why not get it?

I'm inclined to agree, if all you could find is a Diamond for $200 or more. You do have some time to test out the TP2, so give it a go, and let us know what you think. Enjoy ...

Re: Upgrade to Diamond from Touch Vogue or go to TP2?
Only very briefly. I've had WM phones for years (and use some very uncommon proprietary WM programs) and am not ready to switch to another platform.
Were it not that my current Touch is dying, I might wait to see what else is offered in the near future, but since I can't wait, it's the TP2 for now. |

Re: Upgrade to Diamond from Touch Vogue or go to TP2?
What you could do is buy the TP2 full price then just hardly use it, put it in a case and screen protector, sell it when Sprint releases something thinner, then voila. That or get another phone off of eBay/Craigslist.
