My miss my old Touch, should I go back?

I bought my touch diamond on ebay so I switch back and fourth all the time since I was able to keep my touch...

working Android is the reason I switch back and fourth... It's a nice change every now and then, keeps me from buying a new phone.

i have 2 diamonds, but they are not activated. my 2 lines now include a touch and a pro2. other than wifi and the vga screen, everything else on the diamond isnt as good compare to the touch. especially as a phone, the touch is a better phone because it has better signal strength, which means a lot less drop calls. it's also has cooler operating temperature and its battery i believe last longer. i do talk on the phone a lot, so battery life and signal strength are very important to me. note that i live in an area with a weak signal, so the touch clearly a better phone for me. i'm also lucky to have a touch with a good screen. some of the touch out there has a very dull and low viewing angle looking screen. currently i use nfsfan's rom and manila 2d from the htc mega. it looks pretty nice.

OK, so from what I gather here I think the best solution for me is to keep the diamond. Since this post; I've flashed with MightyRom and will not add Mobile Shell, check only my primary e-mail instead of all 4 e-mail addresses, check e-mail every 4 hours instead of 2, stop the RSS feed updates, turn off the weather and try to stay off the internet. I'll update this post as to the outcome; thank you all for your input it was all very helpful {with the exception of a couple wise crackers... you know who you are (-:}

Great. Disable the automatic screen brightness adjusting too and it will be fine.
