Constantly bouncing from Sprint to roam...

I've always had a pretty good Sprint signal here at home, but recently it seems to have degraded (possibly because of trees leafing, but not sure), and now when i'm at home my phone seems to be in a constant tower war and keeps bouncing from a Sprint tower to roam constantly. If I accidently leave my phone unplugged at night, it will sometimes completely drain the battery by morning just from constantly switching towers. What puzzles me is that i'll have 3 bars of signal when connected to the Sprint tower, but then it will suddenly just switch to roam (with the phone sitting stationary, the roam signal is really good).....then 10 seconds later it switches back to the Sprint tower. Of course, this also wakes the screen up every time as well. Has anybody else experienced this?

Is there a way to somehow set a profile so when I am at a certain location I can easily set it to Sprint only? Appreciate any suggestions.

I'm running a Diamond on Sprint with GrooveROM 4.
