Internal Memory?

i got my htc diamond about 3 weeks ago, and i was recently reading that the internal memory has 4 GB of memory. when i check out how much memory my phone has it only says about 200MB. does any one know why?

There are two kinds, "Internal Storage" and internal memory.

and your phone has both. Internal storage is the one with 4gb's

how do i see how much storage in left in the internal memory?

In the upper right hand corner of your Diamond will be an icon. Touch it and a memory card icon will appear. Press it and the memory screen will appear. Touch "Storage Card" on the lower left hand corner and a screen will appear and you will see how much storage you have left out of 4gb

when i do that it says storage card not installed

you sure your dimond does not have a slide out keyboard?

A Diamond with a slide out keyboard.....Didn't know they made one lol!Could be a Diamond with a memory slot

its an original htc diamond from sprint.
it has no memory slot. not one that i can see anyway

That is really strange. Sounds like there is something very wrong with the Internal Storage

"No Storage Card"

I would definitely go back to Sprint and show them the problem and get a replacement. You said you got your Diamond about 3 weeks ago. Did you purchase it at a Sprint store, on ebay, etc.?
